It was supposed to be a mere analogy while doing a critique of a page, but my reference to the Carmen Miranda hat became the most remembered part of that presentation, and remains associated with me more than 25 years later.

One reason it is important to get away from the office and design rignt in the location where the publication/website originates is that one gets inspiration from the most unlikely sources
